Did you know that hippocampus is Greek for seahorse? Well, now you know.
For those of you who don’t know what a hippocampus is:
The hippocampus is a part of your brain that has to do with short-term memory. It is located in the center of the brain. It can store up to 7 bits of information at a time. Apparently, it sort of looks like a seahorse when extracted from the brain. Cool.
